Bord na Móna statement

Bord na Móna notes today’s decision by the government to allow both Bord na Móna and Coillte to concentrate on their core business while streamlining synergies between the companies where they exist.

The company looks forward to engaging with Coillte, together with the interdepartmental Steering Group that has been charged with overseeing the project and NewERA who have been tasked with managing the detailed interaction with the companies involved in the project.

The company will be meeting with the relevant government officials in the coming days to receive a full briefing on the Government’s decision.
