																At this time of the year, the countryside is exposed to an increasingly higher risk of fire. Bord na Móna and the Fire Service reminds the public that it is illegal to set fires in growing vegetation between March 1st and August 28th.

Bord na Móna and Coillte collaborate to transform 1500 hectares into native woodland
																Bord na Móna announces today, their collaboration with Coillte, to transform former peat production land into native woodland. 1500 hectares of bog no longer used for peat production will be initially targeted in Offaly, Laois, Westmeath, and Tipperary for plantation of 600,000 new trees.
