Mike Quinn resigns as Chief Executive Officer of Bord na Móna

Bord na Móna confirms that Mike Quinn intends to resign as Chief Executive Officer of Bord na Móna to take up the position of Group CEO with Ervia.
The announcement to Bord na Móna employees was made this morning by Chairman John Horgan.
Mr Horgan said “I would like to sincerely thank Mike for the significant contribution he has made to the success of Bord na Móna since his appointment in 2015, particularly in terms of setting out our strategy towards 2030. I would like to wish him every success in his new role.
Mike has also informed me that he is eager to continue in his role in Bord na Móna up to the end of October this year so as to bring to completion a number of important projects. The company will now begin the process of recruiting a new CEO and once an appointment is made by the board, we will announce this is due course.”
